AICOL Gold Coast English School Camps

AICOL Gold Coast English School offers a Gold Coast Summer Camp (July/August)  and a Winter Camp (January/February)  program for individual students wanting AICOL staff to accompany them on all activities.

  • Camps have been developed with young students in mind – 6 to 17 years –  but adults are welcome to join the camp programs. If you do not need to have AICOL staff accompany you on your afternoon activities then please see the optional activities program for individual students.  Note airport transfers for students 15 years and younger may incur additional charges.
  • Activities 6 days a week included.
  • Classes conducted by professional language teachers.
  • International classes – maximum 15 students per class
  • graded by professional teachers based on entry test
  •  Government accredited English school famous for Young Learner programs and for Parent and Child programs.
    Children and Parents same timetable same building, different classes
    Homestay accommodation for individual or for whole family.
  • You can mix regular English class programs with the Camp programs.  Have fun learning English at AICOL on the famous Gold Coast of Australia.
  • All homestay families possess a  Police Department issued a “Children’s Safety Certificate”
  • Homestay transport to and from school each day
  • Three homestay meals a day
  • Receive host family profile before arrival in Australia
  • Excellent location opposite Southport Broadwater Parklands and Aquatic Centre and near CBD

TYPICAL ITINERARY FOR SUMMER CAMP WEEK 1

SUNDAY 25 JUNE ARRIVAL DAY Mini bus transfer direct to homestay family. Spend day with host family. You may have a single bed or bunk bed depending on the family arrangements. All families have been inspected by AICOL school Homestay Coordinator and all families hold a positive police clearance “Blue Card” for working with children. Spend day with host family

MONDAY 26 JUNE Breakfast with homestay family (example: cereal with milk, toast, yogurt) Homestay family transport to school and provides small morning tea and homestay lunch (sandwich, fruit) Dinner- varies – meat/fish, vegetables/salad, rice/spaghetti
08:30 Welecome,  Test, Orientation, Class Placement into international classes based on test results.  This gives a more serious study opportunity than the usual closed class study tour where students of all different  levels are in the same class.
