Parents, grandparents and children again enjoyed the free family activities at the Southport Broadwater Parklands on New Year’s Eve 2018. In the family friendly area of the park near AICOL English school the fireworks display was on around 8:00 pm and around 9:00 pm so the young kids could go home before midnight. At midnight for older children and adults there was a huge display of fireworks in Surfers Paradise. Some of our students stayed on with their homestay families for the Christmas/New Year holidays and thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks. See our Facebook page.
